Misa Acupuncture Clinic focuses on patient-centered treatments and counseling. Treatment plans are prepared and modified for each individual’s needs.
Misa is a nationally licensed practitioner for acupuncture, moxibustion, shiatsu and massage and is devoted to support various mental and body conditions, pain and fatigue.
As a former National Softball Team member of Japan, Misa has played against the world’s best athletes for 20 years. Using her own experience and knowledge as an athlete, she is also dedicated to support athletes’ performance and injuries.

鍼について
当院で使用する鍼は、全て滅菌された使い捨ての鍼(ディスポーザブル鍼)となります。使用後は適切に破棄しております。
使用する鍼は髪の毛よりも細いものですが、痛みが全くないですとは言い切れません。痛覚に反応しチクっとした痛みを感じたり、体質や痛みの感じ方など、個人差はありますが、丁寧にカウンセリングを行い、なるべく刺激による痛みが減るように心がけております。
お灸について
当院で行うお灸は、主に透熱灸という直接灸です。はじめに火傷防止の紫雲膏を塗り、その上に直接米粒ほどの小さいお灸を手で作ってのせます。お線香で火をつけ、燃え切る直前に特製の竹筒で緩和します。竹筒で緩和することにより徐々に火が消え、心地よい温かさを感じることができます。火傷の心配も少なく、また直接もぐさをのせることにより、もぐさの成分を直接ツボに効かせることができます。
カナダのバンクーバーで有名な鍼灸師、水谷潤治先生から直々に習い、技術を身につけました。日本でこの方法を使って治療している鍼灸師は少ないでしょう。
